Day 279: The Wheel
Feb. 9th, 2006 10:10 amOkay, I've been admittedly slacker-ish about updating this poor baby lately. The past couple of days have been good and bad. Yesterday I was all right in the morning, but I ended up feeling several doses of miserable and just slept, skipping my last class. See, Latin didn't happen on Tuesday because the professor wasn't there, so we just watched some Firefly and talked and had fun. We girls have been doing a lot of that lately. Last night we were meant to play Magic, but it never happened, so we watched some Elizabethtown, and then went to my room to play Firefly. It turns out that while I'm more or less an alto now I should be less lazy and use the capo when I sing, and when you have enough girls with an acoustic guitar all singing the same song, no matter what the song it starts to feel like a campfire song. We watched some more Firefly, and there was lots of laughter.
The majority of the crazy laughter began in Del's room when my dex check massively failed and I was utterly unable to get the box of popsicles out of her freezer. Yes. Then when the firefly was done we sat around, played cards, and giggled like crazy some more. Nick sat on the bed reading for history and trying to ignore us while we laughed like maniacs. We sang some crazy songs, quoted outtakes from all kinds of things, and then helped Del make plans for when she was going to take over the world. It sounds like it's going to be several brands of interesting.
The day didn't start off all that great, but it ended well.

It turns. Things change. Usually in the course of a day. Now I should do some homework, and so many other things that may or not make me crack. Last night, with all the giggling, I think Del and I were cracking, just a little.
