Guess what? I'm okay. Really I am. Nick and I fought, but it wasn't a knock-down drag-out sort of affair. Once all of the arguing and spite was out of the way, we talked things out and we're okay.

Really.

I mean it.

I should have updated yesterday, because it was, overall, a pretty awesome day. Me, Del, and BenTen went down to St. George to go shopping. I drove because the other two had worked the night before and so were probably very tired. We listened to Rent - because I haven't changed out my CD's in my car and I really ought to - and talked. At the mall we hit Hot Topic, wherein Del and I picked up some pieces for costumes for our upcoming theatre attempt. I only got another top. It's not as constricting as the other one, was significantly cheaper - which doesn't actually matter but some of my father's financial shrewdness has rubbed off on me, I think - and I can wear it with more outfits. I like it a lot. I sort of wore it around last night after we got home. Del picked up a really gorgeous green top, because her character has something of an Irish twist. BenTen picked up a nice anime shirt - because she likes Trigun, and okay, I confess, Wolfwood is all right - and some clothes at Deb's while BenTen and I hid at the bookstore. I drooled over manga that I cannot possibly afford to buy. See, a volume of manga in and of itself is quite cheap, but a whole series - twenty or more volumes - starts to really add up. I'm a good hundred and fifty dollars' worth of manga behind in Kenshin, and the other series I'd like to start - like Fake or Fruits Basket - are already pretty long as well. Le sigh. We took ourselves out to Chili's for dinner because there was no way we'd make it back to the cafeteria on time. We had some fun talking, and sharing food and whatnot. Del and I shared a meal, because what we ordered was huge and I think that only a human vacuum like Junpei could have eaten it all himself. Much sadness ensued when Coldstone was closed, because all three of us were bent on eating there, so we took ourselves to Baskin Robbins instead before heading home.

Me, Del, Seirra and Erin ended up in Del's room helping Del compile lots of love songs for her mom. It was awesome fun, sitting around and being a little sappy and remembering all the sappy, trashy, mushy love songs that I listened to, as well as seeing how many classic love songs we all knew. There was some embarrassment over the sheer number of love songs that came to mind that were from boybands, but we had lots of fun. Poor Del should have slept. On a side note, the Scoobies should know that the first official collection of scooby CD's (one for the boys, one for the girls) will soon be available for pick-up once my burning gets underway.

All in all, it was an interesting weekend. It had its ups and downs.

But I can smile now, and that's what counts.
