Day 109: A very Nagi birthday...

Yesterday I think we celebrated my birthday better than we ever could have. After a standard dull day at school - because as much as I love learning school is really dull - and napping till dinner I hung out with Del and BenTen all night. Till about half past three in the morning. It was awesome. We sat and talked - about everything under the sun. It was awesome. I love doing that, just sitting around late at night when no one's around. I always come away knowing my friends and knowing myself better. I had an awesome time with the girls. As much as I love kickin it with the guys, in the end my best friends are girls. We had every intention of playing Jenga and Mad Gab but in the end never got around to it - we just talked, and sneaked down to the vending machines for snacks. We shared poetry and old quotes and poked through each other's diaries. Hanging out with the girls and just talking is better than having a big party by far. Of course, we started off playing cheezy truth games ("Never have I ever") before they devolved into serious conversations. That's what I love about Del and BenTen - they're both awesome and open-minded and intelligent and we can talk about so many different things and relate to each other despite our very different backgrounds. BenTen got me a pretty rune necklace, and Del got me this awesome Sandman journal. I'll have to use it for something very special.
