nagi_schwarz | Day 311: On the job

Second day on the job, and life could really be much worse. I napped a bit last night, but was still vigilant about my checks. I showed up an hour early to relieve a girl who, I think, had pulled quite the massive double. I rarely see the girls awake, so I attempted to learn their names. It's hard. How do teachers do it? Del said it took her about a month to get it all straight, so I don't feel so bad. Me and another girl named Megan took the girls to West House to make sure they went to bed, and then I worked in the Big House again. I was a bit trepidatious, to say the least, when I saw that Logan and Chris were on duty. I ended up working with Chris. We didn't bother each other much. He watched South Park and other things on his laptop, and typed up staff notes. I typed up high/lows, ran all the checks on the girls, and then listened to music, read, and wrote. It's really a quiet job. Maybe it's the antisocial in me, but I don't mind it too badly if my coworkers don't talk to me in the middle of the night. This job isn't turning out so bad.

I'm a bit sad that Del, BenTen and I always seem to miss each other due to work. BenTen ran off with her boyfriend last night, which is understandable as poork Kitty works down in St. George, but Del works swings and I work nights, so I'm going in just as she's going home. Still, we plan to have some quality time, including gaming time, and then the trip to San Diego. This summer is shaping up to be pretty good as far as I'm concerned. Besides, now that I'm single I really don't need too much in the way of a social life.

I have also joined in the joy of wire, be it frostwire or limewire, and am filling my boyband collection. See, I collect boybands from all over the world. I reckon I need a Korean one, and then I'm good to go. My Japanese boyband is V6, mostly of Inuyasha fame, but I picked up one of their albums in Vegas, and their music is surprisingly enjoyable. If I knew which boy was which. Oh well.

I'm going to go have fun now.
