Yesterday was pretty slow, all things considered. Del actually showed up to lunch looking somewhat alive, and we were all glad to see her up and about and out of her room considering the events that had gone down the night before. My classes were all right. Petersen is always cool. I'm really quiet in that class, and now that Rae has ceased to be quite so annoying it seems like every other brainless schmuck in that class has to be the one to speak out. I should open my mouth more, I suppose. Joe Willis, while he might be annoying, at least knows his stuff. And he's really not all that annoying to me. He's just annoying to Rodney. Not that Joe isn't weird, but, well, I'm not one to talk much on being weird.

Professor Franklin made a geniune effort at being organized, with all his lecture notes in a binder and stuff, and it turns out that whatever notes he printed off didn't actually go with the chapter, so he just sort of abandoned ship and let us all go by three. It was strange. I ended up back in my room writing a letter to Niichan. Yes. I got a letter from Niichan yesterday! I was soooo happy. And I got my X Japan DVD, which was good too. So I wrote a letter to him, and then trooped off to Latin. It was an optional day, but I figured I could use the practice and reinforcement, so it was good. Del was at dinner, and as Alex had been the only other Scooby to go to Latin, Del, BenTen, Alex and I ate together. The food was mildly good. We also had some fun admiring this cute emo/goth guy dressed up all sharp in a black suit. *smirk* Alex was most enthusiastic about it. Del reflected that it would be just her luck if the guy was guy, then rethought and said it would be just Alex's luck. Me, BenTen and Del ended up in Del's room watching "Red Eye" as it was to cheer Del up and out of her illness. Then Seirra and I watched some X Japan, with much cooing and sighing and laughing at some seriously atrocious outfits. I think Yoshiki's unofficial nickname is "Emo Girl." His sense of melodrama is seriously overblown, and every now and again, we'll all admit it, he looks like a girl. No straight guy wears pearls like that, or crimps his hair.

Afterward, Del came in to show off her new guitar skills, and then we were sitting around listening to Anna Nalick, singing along to Del's playing, listening to Erin play her guitar, and Seirra broke out her bass. I told them that if they wanted to pick a song they could play, guitars and bass, I'd make up a drum beat and we could play it together. Not too bad a plan, eh? But it was a lot of fun, sitting around and singing and talking. We sort of scared off the boys, and then scared them off further by listening to some Rent (which we really haven't done in a while). All in all, it was a fun night. Slow, simple nights like that are some of the best.
