Day 175: Hard day's night...

nagi_schwarzThe last couple of nights I've been closing. Yesterday it was pretty busy for a holiday, but tonight it was a little slower. Yesterday, though, Panda and Aya came by to visit. They were in town shopping for newlywed house furnishings and came to chat during a lull, which was nice. Granted, I saw them a couple of weeks ago and I'll be seeing them in the fall, but it was awesome to see them anyway. It was strange. They said they had fun on their honeymoon, but they seemed like the same couple they've always been, which was kinda weird but I think good because it means they had a stable relationship before their marriage.
Tonight was a lot slower. I keep forgetting about fun Tuesday and I'm always armed with food even though everyone brings in food for everyone else. I hear Penny makes an awesome potato salad, but I didn't find out. I spent most of my time talking to Matt from electronics - mostly about music and whatnot. He's a nice guy. I finally ran into Gamila, too, and we got to talk, some about life in general and then about Harry Potter like the geeks we are.
Last night Audi stayed with me, though tonight she seems perfectly content with Shaz and Sid who have camped out in the guest room here for the past few nights. I stayed up sorta late talking to this guy Shaz sicced on my from one of her online gaming chatrooms or something. He wanted to learn japanese and seemed a bit too otaku for her so she shafted him onto me. He seems like a nice guy and even though he's a year younger me it's sorta hard for me to conceive of him as a young adult. Maybe that's because my only other blind internet buddy (one I've never met) is a few years younger than me, and while he's an exceptionally bright and insightful kid I still think of him as a kid.
Tonight I'm gonna stay up and mess around for a bit, just check on people and whatnot. And my dad wants me to find a template of business contract for him. I reckon I can find one on the internet because, well, you can find anything on the internet, but if not he wants me to write the contract for him. I hope when his business friends sign it they don't know a teenager drafted it. *snicker*

Edit: Yutaro called and said she is still with her man, and she's sick of his attitude but she's going to give him one last chance. However one defines last.
