Day 1360: How it went...

The Good
I went to tatting class and learned so many awesome new things.
I finished another K-drama.
My mom's knee surgery went well.
I got 10/10 on my .22 right out the gate.
I got 5/5 on my .380 for the first time.
I survived a surprise four-hour trial.
I had the best team meeting ever with a very difficult family.
I got lots of puppy cuddles.
The Bad
Tatting class meant that four out of five days this week were twelve-hour days.
I spent waaaaaay too much time finishing that K-drama, but after a long and generally awful week it helped me decompress a lot.
My mom had to have knee surgery and she's in a lot of pain.
A half-hour hearing turned unexpectedly into a gruelling half-day trial.
That team meeting with that family lasted for three hours.
I wrote barely anything and all my words seem to have disappeared.
And the neither ugly nor pretty
Fitness! Not that great. The first couple days of the week I did all right, walking Dingo in the mornings, but after two twelve-hour days I was just so exhausted in the morning that I gave up. Running around the courthouse and also walking to and fro to tatting class helped me get my step count in, so that was good.
Spirituality! Also not that great after a couple of days of long hours and living kinda rough, but it picked back up at the end of the week.
Writing! So not good at all. Been too tired to find words, plus also having tatting homework to work on during gaps in my schedule when I'd usually write meant I didn't write much at all and I'm super behind on my writing goals. :sigh: I'm hoping that having tomorrow off will help me recover.
Work! Also not good, given that I was in court for five days straight and what free time I'd hoped to have for paperwork and study was eaten up by a surprise trial. But as it turns out there's an online study course that I can sign up for. Good investment in my future.
Cody was supposed to get the last of his experimental data this week, so naturally the instrument he needed to get his data broke. On the other hand, he's had more contact with the lady from the company in New York, and he's made plans to meet with her again at the end of October. We'll see how that goes...
