So, first day back at school. A three-day weekend so early on in the semester is somewhat disorienting and confusing, but I survived all, right, went to the proper classes and so on. Volunteered to read something aloud with Rowsdower in class on Thursday, which will be interesting, but it was that or try desperately not to snicker while he and Benten read it together. He's right, though, Benten. You really are a little nezu in class. Why can't you speak up as loud as you do in history? I wasn't sure if I spoke too little in class or too much. I can never tell. And of course, there she was, Megan, in all her glory, proving once again that her footnotes are better than ours.
It was something of an experience trying those can soup microwavable things. Now that I can use that microwave it's going much better for me. I still managed to make a lousy mess, but I cleaned it up, so that all went so well in the end. I did burn my tongue, though, in my impatience to eat. I was very hungry for lunch (even though, unlike some people, I did eat breakfast) but I also really wanted some cream of mushroom soup, so I opted for the second and learnt some things about making instant soup. Such as pressing the buttons on a microwave for instacook isn't always better than just plugging in the time manually. I came out of it all right in the end, though. I could've had all my homework done loads early, but I didn't...dragged it out by mucking about on the internet, but I also have all night to get it done, so...
I ended up taking a nap. That's what I get for having a caffeinated drink before my needed naptime. I didn't sleep so well last night - some baka thought it would be a grand idea to vacuum at around midnight, and then that poltergeist whispery noise was louder and more persistent (as opposed to intermittent) than ever. I will be causing pain if I discover that there is a human source to that sound. Yes, much death.
Moped a bit last night. Listened to NOFX and Meg Frampton too much for my own good.
Such is life.
I will get some more of that homework done before Brad does something he may regret. Of course, I don't think he's ever regretted anyone he's killed, sooo...
