Wheeeeeeeeeeee! I have internet in my room now! It was something of a chore as I had the guy originally scheduled to show up at about half one, and then some bird called and said it was changed to half eleven, and when he didn't show up at either time I called the housing office and they said his schedule had run off so he came at around 5 so I sat on the net mucking about until Benten was off the phone and then we went to supper. Now I can do research and email people to my heart's content and everything else that requires internet. I was surviving well without it in my room, I confess, and I've gained many miles on some novels, but oh well.
Last night we had our welcome back Farscape game, and it ran a little long, and I was dead tired by the time we got home, but it was a fun game. Once I remembered what race I was I got some nifty things done, things that involved walking up walls and stuff (of course, not before chatting a few NPC's into suicidal insanity).
French was bloody miserable this morning. I suppose I ought to try to participate more, but I was too tired. I think there's something about winter and cold that makes me tired and suffer from a general lack of energy. English was good, and the four of us (includes Benten, Rowsdower and Rodney) all showed up, so it was good. Classes are generally all right. I've been doing well on keeping up with my homework (but doesn't everyone the first few weeks of school?) and so Brad has been less homicidal than before.
I think Benten and I scared away some chicks from the dorms tonight at dinner. Then again, we always manage to lapse into horrible conversations about weapons and death that turn away most people.
But Nagi is very happy to be connected to the world again. Yutaro called, and now I know she's alive, which is always a bonus.
Congrats to Soujiro on getting married.
Signing off - I suppose I should do some more work or something.
