It seems that's how I'm living my life these days, from Wednesday to Wednesday, one Criminal Minds episode to the next. Tonight's was awesome. I was a little leery of how the creepy family of criminals was, of course, Romani, because I can see a whole bunch of ignorant Americans totally thinking all Romani are like that - thieves, murders, the whole kit and caboodle. Even though it was a minor point, I was at least pleased to see Reid point out that whatever this family was doing, it was perverting Romani tradition. He made the point a couple of times, too, I think. Sometimes I find my own head censoring itself of suspect thoughts. I don't know if that makes me culturally aware or crazy. But tonight's episode was intense and it was all about the Hotch, by the way. I think the first time I ever saw him doing the whole good-cop, bad-cop routine, he was the good cop and Gideon was the bad cop. It's interesting, how the Unit Chief gets to play bad-cop. I love it when Hotch goes all hardcore like that, like the time during the custodial interview with Reid where Hotch was going to resort to fisticuffs with an inmate. It was sad, to know that Hotch hardly ever gets to see Jack, too. And the end of this episode was, well, creepy. What I do hate is when someone is all "stay tuned for scenes from our next episode" and then the next show starts, and I'm just all...hey! I want to know what's coming next! But tonight's episode was full of awesome. I thought it was interesting to note how random actors from Heroes keep showing up. Last week it was the girl who could do everything, and this week it was Molly the human tracker. She's a great actress, though, which was cool.

So far life is good. Last night in bellydancing I learned the rest of the zill pattern for our shiny dance, and have learned - sort of - to balance a stick on my head. Although I have been informed that, should there be a performance, the stick will be a sword. Which I am totally cool with. Today I got a line on possible employment here in Omaha for the summer, and I'm excited about that. I got to talk to my mom, and Angela and I got tickets to Boston for the big conference. For some reason I'm horrifically nervous about missing classes for the conference, but considering how other people miss classes and I've only missed a class once so far in law school, I think I'm doing pretty good, if I do say so myself. I also got my grades back - straight Bs, with one A in witness exam, so that's cool. My GPA is up from where it was my first semester, so I'm pretty jazzed for that.

Today Paul found out how crazy weird I am. Poor guy had no clue - thought I was some nice little granny-girl who sits around in her apartment all day writing and crocheting. Which is close to the truth. Only, I also make medieval armor and like swords, and that threw him for a loop. The look on his face when he processed what I said was pretty hilarious.

And now I shall relax.

And write. Goodness gracious, I do love me some Criminal Minds.
