Day 697: Fangirling it up
Nov. 22nd, 2008 08:46 pmThat's right. My weekend has been a whole lot of fangirling.
Well, Thursday night was less fangirl and more studiousness. I only had one class, and it wasn't until 2:20, but I went in in the morning anyway and got a whole lot of homework done. Once I was out of class, I swung by the comic book store (to get my prof some of his own dice so my dice don't suffer any more gaming mojo loss than they already have) and to get a present for a friend. Then I spent the rest of the night crocheting like a nutcase.
Friday I did hardly any homework. I might have felt more guilty, only I'd done most of it on Thursday anyway. After classes got out, Angela and I went to see Twilight. We had a rockin' good time, laughing inappropriately and enjoying ourselves. My expectations for the film were fully met, and I was happy. Afterwards we went to Olive Garden for endless soup, salad, and bread sticks. Then I ran home, cleaned my flat, changed, and went to the temple.
Which was awesome and peaceful and that's all the detail I'll offer.
I went to the gingerbread display at the Trail Center while I waited for Kris, and then we came back to my place. Amy joined us, and we did visiting teaching. Then I spent the rest of the night goofing off and talking to Daniel and my parents online.
I did nothing useful today except get my oil changed. I went to see Twilight again, this time with the fabulous
minisinoo and another HP fan named Krista (I don't know her SN, oddly enough) and we had a raucous good time. We enjoyed the movie, and the preview for HP 6, and then went to a restaurant to talk some more. Well, they went to the restaurant, and I got lost. I called Angela to help me get on the right path, and then I called Rowsdower, who broke into my email account for me and told me the address of the restaurant. I do love my friends and they put up with my incompetence all the time. I had a great weekend. I got lots of good time with bishonen on the big screen and I got to hang out with friends and make new friends.
Of course, now I must buckle down and do useful things, so I'm doing laundry, and I'm going to outline. Until my eyes fall out.
