Day 652: The Call
Aug. 5th, 2008 12:42 amYeah. So "Breaking Dawn" wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (hope for the best, prepare for the worst and all that). And maybe I've trained myself to like angst way too much. But I will say this - Bella Swan makes me want to PUNCH BABIES. The entire novel read like Mary Sue on crack and was pretty much the entire reason I wasn't into the Vampire Diaries except for the guy who loses in the love triangle (Damon, Jacob, I'd take either). Bella was too friggin' perfect, too awesome, too everything. And I think Jacob waaaaaay got the shaft. He was a nice guy, but all that ever seemed to matter was that Bella was ticked off. She couldn't be happy for him, that a convenient plot device saved him from a heck of a lot of heartache. Oh noooo. Because it happened to her baby. (Which is totally the baby I'd punch.) But yeah, I read it all. Got it done before one a.m. too.
And I'm ranting about the sparkly vampires because I'm procrastinating the real point of this entry, which was my official farewell to Cedar City.
( and so the story goes... )
