That's right. Now I'm sleeping even more, but that's totally due to stress. Why? Finals are coming. I stayed after school on Monday for a couple of hours getting some review on my paper done. Then I went home and slept till dinner. After dinner I headed off to family home evening. After FHE I did the edits on my paper.

But on Tuesday during the break (now that legal research is over) Jason and I did a last round of edits and then turned our papers in. Institute was a peaceful break. I'm really enjoying it. I more or less slogged my way through Leviticus, cringing at all the animal killing and burning, but Brother Applegarth makes it all interesting and useful and profound. Awesome man. I went home and slept some more. Watched Heroes on the Internet and then House on TV. Yay. Didn't get any homework done and was freaked out something fierce.

Today went better. As usual, learned nothing in property. But I finished my Contracts Outline in class. We're done with our Con Law review. So that's two classes down. I finished my Torts outline tonight. Three classes down. I've decided to abandon the Property Flashcards, no matter how good an idea it was, and copy all the useful charts out of the Gilbert so I can pound that into my brain. I started on the hellish Bellringer list for Legal research. I watched Criminal Minds. I should practice my violin.

I'm psychotic. After several days of lolling inactivity, my activity meter is through the roof. I've burned about twenty CDs worth of law lectures onto my laptop. I think the next time I do one of those music player shuffle surveys I'm going to end up with some seriously wacky results, but at least they'll reflect the insanity of being a law student. We've started to get heads up talks in classes about exams from staff. At least some of our profs are giving us a review. I feel the most doom for Civ Pro. Luckily for me, it's the last exam, so I have time to panic.

Still, today and tonight was a mass of finals prep. Now that I have outlines done I actually have to review them. My grand master plan is to email them to my mom and have her review them with me over the phone, like I did in high school. I always did best if I could talk it all out with someone. And to be honest, I'd rather talk it out with someone who won't jump in on a particular point and pontificate at me. Mom loves me and will help me. Plus it's an excuse to talk to her for a long time.

But I'm all mentally burned out now.

Nagi is retiring the law school mind for the night.

Brad is in the corner cleaning his gun, innocent as can be and yet utterly dangerous all at once. Sort of like Farf with a blender and a poniard.
