Day 466: It's coming
May. 1st, 2007 04:36 pmThat's right. Graduation is coming. I barely know what time all the important events are going down, let alone where they are. My mother is several different kinds of amazing and awesome and made me two dresses for graduation, one for each ceremony (because to make two is cheaper than buying one). My plans this weekend are crazy. I want to game with my friends, graduate, and then go to Marty's play. And then start freaking out (even more) about going away for a few weeks.
And going away to grad school.
Look's like Nebraska is it. I was hoping to get the full-tuition scholarship to Valparaiso, because it would have been cheaper, and I would have also had at least one friend already there in the form of Schuldig. Oh well. Nebraska it is.
Rae pointed out that it isn't far from Missouri where she'll be, so I'll be able to see her as well.
Lately the people I talk to are Schuldig and Daniel online, long conversations about anime, life, the universe, and categorical syllogisms. Because I miss Mr. Aristotle fiercely.
I think, on a random whim, I may study some logic this summer. It was logic or Latin, and honestly, I think I'm going to need the logic for this fall if the LSATs were any indication. So there it is. I do have some crazy plans.
I'm suffering from writer's block again, but what else is new? I have to find someone to keep Genji the Fish alive this summer, and I also have to round up the last of my friends' addresses so I can send shiny postcards from wherever.
Work has been. Well. We got a new case, but it's an old case from another firm, so all of us have spent days sorting out various portions of the contents of the files in the box that came to us. Me, I got bills and records as I always do when a case is new. Once a case has received the magical read dot of review from Cheryl, Olivia handles the records from then on out, but upon opening a case the medical bills are mine to deal with.
I started them yesterday and finished it today at around two.
Yeah, such is life. But I love my job and my coworkers are cool, so I'm happy.
The highlights of my day are that hour and a half I have to zone out from the time I get home from work till dinner, and then, if there's something cool like Heroes or House on TV that night. And talking to people online at night.
Wow. I'm going crazy again.
