Day 392: Geeking it up
Nov. 29th, 2006 11:02 pmSo...if I thought it was cold yesterday, it wasn't as bloody cold as today. Hiss. Groan. Sigh. Moan. Grumble.
I hate the cold.
I made it through the day all right. Mythology was fun. Criminal justice was a sham. We started this annoying group thing before the break. He didn't remember and tried to reallocate us and make us do it all over again. To hell with that. I messed around on the laptop in the hour between CJ and Dickens. Dickens was all right. I kept my mouth shut. No weird Lacanian stuff this time. Hung out with Marty at lunch. Work was slow. Plenty of no-shows. Got to talk to Michelle a bit about mythology class, and looking younger than our age, and other fun things like that. I also got to show off some minor computer skills. Really, that I can follow instructions. The trick is knowing which set of instructions to follow in a time of crisis. That was fun.
I chilled out with the laptop some more before philosophy club. It was interesting. I was quiet. Latin was fun, but it's coming to an end, and I'm sad. Alex drove us to get his cards, and then we hung out and ate and played two games of magic. A man called me about a job after graduation. Possibly in a law office. I am too excited for my own good. We also played a game of Munchkin, and then I went to pick up Seirra and Marty. We played more Munchkin with BenTen, a game of D&D, and I just lost a game of magic.
Seirra and Alex are still going at it.
It's been fun. I love being a nerd.
And I got my 50,000.
Another year on the ticket, babes!
