Day 381: The best midterm ever...
Nov. 7th, 2006 01:14 pmI didn't think I would ever write something like this. But I just had the most awesome midterm ever. Ever. It was in Tvordi's Shakespeare class. We performed scenes. We sort of had things planned, but then one of our actors bailed at the last minute. So we re-arranged the roles and went to town. Natalie was the bomb and totally stepped up to it, and our Bottom was fantastic. I, in all my punkish glory, played Robin Goodfellow, and had a total blast. One group did a western version of Henry IV part one, the scene where Hotspur dies. It was damned funny, with music, scenery, cookies, and a dancing tumbleweed. I loved it. We let Lisa borrow the white Ren dress in her affair as Titania, and had so much fun. And then the scene from Twelfth Night - Tyler dressed up in BenTen's pink chemise and a blond wig, and it was fantastic. And Dr. Tvordi glomped Ericka, which was great. Josh played Malvolio - or was it Feste? - with a Kermit the Frog puppet. I loved it a lot.
That was fun.
Now for the Dickens, and maybe some Scarecrow and Mrs. King.

Edit: 13,172/50,000
