Day 380: Monday Monday
Nov. 6th, 2006 07:19 pmNamed twice because it's a very long day. Not quite as long as Wednesdays, but long all the same. I'm damned tired, but I'm going to watch Heroes if it kills me. I wallowed in a state of bizarre ennuy all through Sunday, and didn't get around to that paper draft - much to Brad's consternation - until around six in the evening. Then Seirra and I went to see the Prestige (and it gets better every time I see it) and were joined by Josh and Pattie, and Marty. I came home and finished the CJ homework of suck. Made it to bed at about two a.m. Whatever.
Today classes were long. I was impressed with myself in that I managed to choke down almost six entire chapters of Bleak House during my free hour. I turned in the CJ paper draft. Having lost my syllabus, however, I ran mostly on blind faith. I was lucky and somehow managed to meet the bare minimum requirements. I worked and tutored some. I ran around to some of the 1010 and 2010 classes because I'm on a committee at work and had to run some publicity. It was embarassing and at the same time very gratifying to hear how highly my professors think of me when they introduced me in their classes. I ran with the publicity as best as I could, mostly faked it, and then ran back to work. Got to see the cute Russian boy.
Latin was nice and short, so I came home and had dinner. Spending nine or ten hours a day on campus isn't fun.
On the upside, I saw my counselor, and she signed my paperwork, so now I just have to get the rest of everything else signed off and then turn the papers in. I think I'm at least a little ahead as far as nanowrimo is concerned, so if I'm lacking in inspiration tonight I can give myself a break.
Heroes. That's the goal for now.
