Day 328: More invaders and visitors
Jul. 25th, 2006 05:36 pmSo I'm done with work for this week. Until Thursday. In order to be able to actually go to lake Powell with Del and Co I had to switch some days with some coworkers, so I'm also working Friday in addition to Saturday. Oh well. Either way, no one is going into overtime and I will still get a full paycheck come next payday. Whenever that may be. When I get home, I guess. Alison is still crashing with us. No one is really sure what to say. Monday night wasn't so bad. I posted Next Door with Greta, and just did calligraphy all night. By the time I was done with the calligraphy, my hand was all cramped up, so I didn't get much done on the novel. But yesterday the four of us went down to St. George and went shopping. I bought things. I hadn't intended to buy anything, to be perfectly honest, but I did. Didn't buy any clothes, just books. Megatokyo volume 4 and a new Evangelion thing, called Angelic days, that seems to take the alternate universe presented in the final episode of the anime and run with it, and ignores the OVA's completely. I like it because I like Kaworu, and so I bought it. We went to Hot Topic, and Del found this geeky leather armband thing that has the dark mark on it, but it didn't quite fit her so I bought it, but I reckon both of us will be able to wear it. Yay! Then we took ourselves out to dinner at Outback, where I discovered that their mashed potatoes (as a side) are totally awesome.
Today Ericka's little brother Alex is in town. We ran errands, and then took ourselves out to Lupita to eat. Which was also fun. And yay! I got mail! I got a letter from Niichan. It's totally cool - black paper and written with a silver pen! I love it. It's good to hear from him again. So I shall write him back! I've been pretty good and faithful as far as writing, and now that I'm awake all night. But there's all kinds of staff training this week, all the training that was cancelled when I first started working. Ack. So I'm going to be a bit of a zombie, which will make Lake Powell that much sweeter.
