Day 262: First week done
Jan. 13th, 2006 02:59 pmSo...I made it through the first week of school. Call it a miracle, I think. I am under the impression that some of my professors wonder what's going on with me as I don't seem to speak up in class. Oh well. All of the professors I have this semester I've had before - save Harrison for Latin - and so they know me to some degree or another, and now they have expectations. Oh well.
My headaches have been coming on and off, making concentration difficult. I would have read last night, and more or less attempted some Huck Finn, but ended up watching "Bruce Campbell vs. The Army of Darkness" with Nick and Seirra. See, BenTen, I love you a lot, but your taste in movies occasionally leaves something to be desired. This afternoon Del and I plan on going to see some Tristan and Isolde, and tonight, whoever is going to go will go see some Off the Cuff down at the grind.
I have talked to Rowsmakitty several times today, and have some of the lowdown on the March Conference. It's on the ninth, but we'll probably end up leaving on the eighth because it's a long drive. I ordered the books I need off the internet so I can start writing the paper of doom, and boy am I feeling the heat. I talked to Petersen, and as it turns out I can't actually pull double duty with my conference paper, which means the paper will have to be a whole side project and it will turn me into a harpy. Thanks to the girls in advance for keeping me sane, ne?
Today was blissfully Rae-free as far as English goes. Logic is shaping up to be all right. I will try to get done what homework I can before we head out for the night. Sure we have a three-day weekend coming up, but that doesn't mean I get to slack off. Brad has been quiet, but when he's quiet for this long it just means he's planning something. Schuldig is more than enthusiastic about me blowing off work, but that has less to do with his slacker morals than it has to do with his eternal desire to just annoy Brad. Farfarello is down for the killing of Rae and has many unpleasant suggestions toward that end. Oh well.
So much of my homework seems to be online these days. It's really starting to weird me out.
