Day 258: Back at the dorms...

So...I didn't update over the last few days. There wasn't much to comment on, other than me sleeping in, lounging around the house, helping with chores and all that. On Tuesday, mom and I drove up to Cedar to move most of my stuff back in and buy my books. There were eleven books listed for Petersen's class, but some of them were optional so I only bought the required books. For six classses I needed eighteen books, and they cost $480. That's the most books have ever cost me. Ever. It was horrifying. And I tend to keep most of my textbooks, especially the ones that are anthologies or actually novels. And I even managed to score some of my anthologies used. There were some hang-ups at the cashier's office, but in the end everything seems sorted. I changed Fitz's class to an audit, but I'm still going to go faithfully because I wouldn't be me if I didn't. I will be asking people for copies of their schedules soon. You too, BenTen. I will find some way to get it. And no, your boyfriend didn't sell you out. I have friends in low places as well, you know. Today I swung by the high school to see my old English Teacher Mrs. Madden. Her sister died December 15th, so she was gone when I swung by the first time. I spent most of lunchtime talking to her, finding out about all the kids I knew in high school - who seem to be getting married at an alarmingly quick rate - and talking about college. It was good to see her again. I saw all those little high schoolers and felt so damned old. And I'm not even twenty yet. Though that is coming soon.

Nick called. SHGP. With an extra emphasis on the P. Am I sad or what? He will hopefully be getting back into town tomorrow.

But I made it back up to the dorms all safe and sound, so there you go. If anyone needs me, this is where I am.
