nagi_schwarzSunday was the best day ever. It was peaceful and calm. I got to talk to my Mom and Justin on the phone. I like talking to people on the phone. I got to sleep in. I got to see my friends at church. Okay, so I could have done without a fireside about marriage, but considering how so many marriages these days are going to hell in a handcart I guess I need all the good advice about marriage I can get.
Today was a good day. I got up on time, went to school early, did homework, went to classes. While I was sitting alone prepping my big evil legal research paper Professor Watts came to say hello to me, congratulate me on doing so well in his class, and offer his support and recommendations when it comes to finding a job this summer. Apparently I'm really on the ball as far as getting a job for the summer already, but Professor Watts was very nice about it all. I signed up for practice interviews next Monday. Adam and I made plans to eventually game and watch fights. We both agreed we need to get settled into our schedules before we lay down any specific days of fun. After classes were done, Jason and I headed across campus - in the bitter cold - to study. I didn't get nearly as much done as I wanted. Nagi no baka. The entire time I sorta-worked I could feel Brad standing next to me, idly cleaning and checking and loading his gun and just waiting for an excuse to shoot me. I mean, I did my reading and briefing for property, and I got all my reading for Con Law done, but I still have to brief it and then go over my paper for Legal Writing tomorrow. Ack.
Still, Sunday was the best day I've had in a while. Not in terms of excitement or anything, just in the way it was serene and helped me get myself back on center. I have a feeling Sunday will come to be all I have in this semester. I miss my parents and my friends like crazy, but then a week ago I was back home.
