Day 383: On the stage

So I worked pretty hard yesterday. Okay, I'm behind on my Dickens reading, but sacrifices must be made. Oh well. I got my grad papers signed by the chairs of my major and minor. It was nice how concerned they were about me, about my future and where I'm going. Both of them asked me to keep in touch and tell them where I end up and all that jazz. It will be strange. I think, as far as the CJ department goes, I will probably end up emailing Franklin with any news. I could email any number of teachers in the English department, though. That would be fun. All I need is the dean's signature, and then I'm going to make copies of my grad papers because the office is notorious for losing all kinds of paperwork, and turn them in.

It's really going to happen. I'm going to graduate. I'm excited and scared all at once.

Last night we were meant to do the Steampunk game. Didn't happen, because Alison was tired and a bit unhappy, and Marty is still trying to sort out his life. Me, Seirra, Ericka, and Logan ended up sticking around, enjoying pizza, and making characters together. I am very excited about this game indeed. I think it will be all sorts of fun, and I am very eager to see how all the characters play out and interact. It was fun last night, hanging out and talking. Logan is a pretty cool guy. I wouldn't mind seeing more of if, say, he and a certain someone started dating. (No, that certain someone is not me.) I owned at Tekken, Seirra owned at crash team racing, and then Ericka owned at King of Fighters. Then Seirra and I started messing around on the internet, looking at Eddie Izzard's comedy routines, some Jpop music videos, and other geekiness.

Malice Mizer owns on all American goth bands, by the way. One of their music videos almost gave me nightmares. I haven't been that surprised and frightened by something like that in a while. The Japanese do have a deeply pscyhological sense of the creepy. Ew. Gross. Scary.

Seirra and I ended up having to cheer ourselves up by cooing over the cuteness that is V6. It's probably damaging to the male pride, but the boys (probably more technically men) of V6 are absolutely adorable, in a cute little puppy sort of way.

I go home today to hang out with Mom. It's going to rock.

I have class in an hour and things to do. See the world then, eh?

Grrr. Malice Mizer made it so I couldn't sleep until 4 AM.
I have an overactive imagination.
Btw, all that music you showed me last night, I want copies of -- the V6 and Namie Amuro.
