I always feel guilty when I don't update my journal regularly. Or write regularly in general. I feel that, once I have the time and energy to put things into words, the events I've experienced don't get the words they deserve. That being said, I shall attempt a Polonius (and probably fail):

Thursday:
- woke up and did chores, folding laundry to the sweet (and heavy metal) guitar strains of X Japan
- drove up to Springville, made it in pretty good time on a little over half a tank of gas, got lost driving past Justin's house before I'd realized I'd passed it
- hung out with Justin, had dinner with his family, watched Bulletproof Monk

Friday:
- Went to pick up Justin's little brother Kyle from his Grandmother
- Toured the Air Force museum, which was fun, watching Justin geek out over engines and geeking out over history myself
- hit the souvenir shop where Justin treated us all to cool patches (so I can put a new one on my awesome black denim jacket)
- ate lunch in the shade of a decommissioned military aircraft
- took Kyle to his other grandparents' house
- lost sorely at Wii baseball
- went into SLC for dinner at the Lion House restaurant. Sat on a bench outside waiting for Justin's parents and telling him obscure things I remember from history, like the origin of assassins, the serious vendetta that was the Janissary corps, and things that I thought weren't obscure but apparently are outside of my hyperactive mental realm
- had good food, went to the conference center for the Pioneer Day Memorial Concert
- Listened to MoTab and enjoyed old American songs (they have a pleasant military, march beat and seem cheerful and determined no matter how much suffering was involved)
- listened to the Osmonds and was entertained by Donnie and Marie and how they get along (cringed a bit at Marie's besequined rendition of "How Great Thou Art" and was embarrassed at knowing all the lyrics to Donnie's "Puppy Love")
- hung out at Justin's place, talked a bit, went to bed

Saturday:
- woke up, hung out, waited for Jeremy and Mitchell to come home
- watched Iron Monkey, which was entertaining and full of awesome kung fu
- had lunch
- played in a vague ping pong tournament (only person I beat was Jeremy)
- played some Smash Brothers and lost viciously (though somehow did okay as, erm, Jiggly Puff? Put myself to sleep a lot)
- took a nap
- had supper with all the boys, including Mitchell's friend Landon, which led to fun Firefly/Serenity conversations
- played Champions of Norrath with Justin, Mitchell, and Jeremy and lost where I was on the screen a lot
- watched "Transformers," which was cool, and decided that Megan Fox is one of those "but-her-face" girls, as BenTen calls them
- stayed up and talked until Mitchell came home, which was after curfew

Sunday:
- woke up, had breakfast with the family
- went to sacrament meeting at church
- Justin's mom made me awesome food, and then I took off
- missed the turn onto I-15 and had to backtrack embarrassingly
- drove down to Cedar City
- hung out with Sei, Robyn, and Ericka
- it stormed horribly, and we were a bit nervous, so we decided to wait it out
- we ate food and watched The Muppet Treasure Island, played a round of Mario Party, some guitar hero
- played cards once Logan came over
- I drove home, narrowly avoiding the storm
- crawled straight into bed and agonized over all the things I'd missed on cyberspace, which is a bit pathetic, only it's not

Monday:
- woke up, had food, paid credit card bill
- went to work
- worked
- goofed around on Youtube and the booking list with Torrey for a bit
- came home, had supper with the parents, tried on the bits of new dress Mum is making for me
- went to Hurst for crafting supplies; failed attempt at renting old Christian Bale movies
- put cool new songs on Mum's iPod (yes, my Paul Anka-loving mother now has Metallica on her iPod)
- watched TV with the folks and worked on scale male (which seems to be a bit too big for Marty - must consult measurements again)

That's it. Really.

And then some.
