Day 619: Penultimate

That's right. Today was five down, so now there's only one more to go. Today was a genuinely good day. I woke up feeling much better, which was grand. I also woke up earlier, so I did my morning reading and then Mom and I ran through my Torts outline. I felt pretty comfortable about the material. I goofed off for a bit, then set to playing Guitar Hero before heading off to school for the Torts exam. As it turns out, the entirety of section B was ordered to handwrite their exam. The tests for torts this semester weren't the same for both sections. We had sixty multiple choice questions and an essay. Section B just had eighty multiple choice questions. Section A was shafted to a single row in the very back of the room, and wow, Section B is loud. I buckled down and did my best on the exam. Got through the multiple choice section in good time, and then through the essay. It was a good thing I went back and checked my answers. In retrospect, I probably got some questions wrong, but I came off of that test feeling the best I've had through this entire set. After the exam Mom and I went down to the Salvation Army, as Wednesday is half day off. We spent most of the time trying on old prom dresses (they were going for fifteen bucks) and old dress suits. Unfortunately for me, all of the dress suits were either the horrific eighties look with huge shoulders (as if my shoulders aren't huge enough) or made me look like I was dressing up in someone's mama's clothes. Which I probably was. We scored a couple of nice old prom dresses (maybe I'll wear one of them to the theatre Friday night?), a skirt, and some pants. It was a very awesome bargain. We came back and chilled a bit. Watched 27 Dresses with Mom, because I felt the need for some biting sarcasm and also James Marsden. No one can ever have too much James Marsden. We had supper, and watched Criminal Minds. I also did lots of nutty origami. Wow. I love origami. Tomorrow I have to study for Legal Writing and also write the essay. Which is a page long. Not going to be so bad an essay. Here I was thinking we had 24 hours for five pages or something. Whatever.

I'm doing better, although I'm nervous that the turn in the weather is going to send me into a tailspin. Whatever happens, finals is almost done.
