That was me. For a while there. Thursday was hellish and long. As it stands, I survived my first huge legal writing assignment. As in I passed. More horrible pass-fail work coming up. I'm not looking forward to it. It was awesome, on Thursday, to get home, sprawl out on the couch, and talk to Del. For a long time. Like I've mentioned before, I like hearing my friends' voices. Well...most friends. Not sure I'd count Nick-the-ex-boyfriend an actual friend, but I'm working up to it.

I worked my tail off on Friday as well. Despite the fact that I'd only had four hours of sleep, Friday was good. Sylvia's brother, who is a chef, made us breakfast burritos for study group, so we did what we could and had good times. We only had Con Law on Friday, as Property was cancelled. Most kids took off right after Con Law. I stuck around and got a whole load of homework done. I was there till four. I was very proud of myself, because I worked hard. I went home, had some food, and then went to play Quidditch for Muggles.

Which was awesome. Despite reading way too much fanfiction which insists that smaller people make awesome seekers, I was a beater the whole time, and I loved it. Since we had the majority of law students/lawyers on one team (and I'd forgotten to bring a light shirt for team changes) and we had the green bludgers, we were team Slytherin. And we totally kicked Gryffindor into the ground. The first couple of games were played with two chasers and no seekers, but we worked our way up to four chasers and a pair of seekers. Dean Dallon was the Slytherin seeker - we rocked. It was great fun. I think Ryan (who invented the game with a friend from home) should post rules and suggest gear on the internet. It'd be great for kids' parties, because it'll wear them out. Nothing more chaotic than a game with five balls on the pitch (we had two quaffles for fun).

I planned on going home, eating real food (because I ate light before the game so as not puke), watching some anime, and maybe getting that Valentine's story done. Not so. Poor Xiao Qian has been sick all week, so we trekked around town looking for a place to fill her prescriptions. She gave me some chrysanthemum tea, and we talked. I made it home at midnight and promptly passed out. I was beat. After nine hours of sleep, I was still beat this morning, but I took myself off to enrichment anyway. We had brunch at a restaurant and made valentines for little kids at hospitals. Then we went to worldwide training. Which was probably useful, but I was bored out of my skull and tired. I felt like a zombie the entire day. When I feel lame, I dress in my most comfortable (and worst looking) clothes, but where there's church, there are skirts and nice blouses. Which I wasn't wearing. So Attorney Amber took me back to her place and let me borrow some of her stuff. I think it's the first time I've borrowed an entire outfit from someone.

I came home and watched some anime. Crashed. Had dinner. Did property. Really don't want to work on legal writing but I have a headache. I don't think I've had a single day this week without a headache, and I'm getting pretty fed up with it. Nothing I take really lasts, and I can't take pills nearly as often as I'd like. Ack.

Also, I got real mail for the first time in a while. Abby (relief society president) sent me a birthday card. Justin sent me something too - stuff for Valentine's day and my birthday (which are annoyingly close). He sent me candy and a card for Valentine's day, which is stereotypical but indescribably sweet. For my birthday, he sent me a book on throwing knives. Now, I know most people would find this confusing and rather the antithesis of romantic, but that's the kind of person I am. He gave me lovely black throwing knives for Christmas and he gave me the means by which to throw them for my birthday. It's thoughtful, really.

So today was long. I did property and slept more than I should. Last semester I thought I wasn't sleeping. Now I know I'm not sleeping. Yes, very fed up.

Anyway, I should write or check email or something.
