Day 563: Bored and disarmed
Jan. 23rd, 2008 08:38 pmThus is the fate of Brad. I was at school at eight this morning, did homework, went to classes, had free lunch, went to one more class, did homework, outlined for four out of five classes that require outlines, and left at half six. That's right - I worked my little tail off. And before anyone mocks - those outlines are handwritten. Partially because I remember things better when I write them down, and partially because I need to work on my new print writing so as to not have it recognized for this second round of tests.
It was long day, but I slept well last night and I got my ID back. Monika called me last night, and I got her all caught up on the news that is the law school and the YSA. It was really good to talk to her - she called because she got my letter. That's right, the rampant letter-writer is back! I talked to Mom and Dad on the phone tonight, and they're safe in Hong Kong. I missed hearing their voices. Communicating over email won't be nearly as great.
I've decided to write and talk to friends in my free evenings (it's too cold outside to do kendo, and I've faced it, my place is too small for decent kendo too). Now that I have them. I watched all my favorite songs on Hairspray while I ate my dinner. Today I exchanged messages with Logan over Myspace, and I even got to talk to Schu for a bit before I started my homework.
I'm doing some crazy roller coaster mood swings, but I'm glad my turnaround is twenty-four hours.
Also, my muse, though limping and sad and a bit weak, came back to me. In property.
So I'm working on that Valentine's Day story for Min.
But it was a good day today.
