Day 441: Off season Wonderland
Feb. 28th, 2007 04:26 pmToday it snowed. Probably not a big surprise for most of the people in this state, but whatever. There was snow on the grass this morning when Mom and I left for the gym, and it looked like Christmas come a couple of months too late when I made it to work.
Needless to say, the weather played havok on my head, and so I was cotton-headed again all day and am rather frustrated that I didn't get anything real done. Ack. But at least I do have a steady course of work for a while. It sorta sucks that whatever lactose intolerance pain struck on Friday night has morphed into continual discomfort, but I'm dealing by eating little more than yoghurt. Whatever, you know?
I was going to try to take a nap after work, but I'm not that tired. Just a bit dazed. Today went okay, though. My lunch break was short, but I celebrated it by watching some Interstate 60 and X Japan music videos. Nothing like a little urban fantasy and death metal to get a geek through the day.
Last night, YouTube randomly started working on my laptop again. Which means that someone will have to send me the link of KFC dancing. I celebrated this random magic from my computer by watching music videos, Stephen Lynch, and lots of James Marsden singing. He will be singing with Idina Menzel this fall, which I think is damn cool.
Anyway. I'm gonna go pretend to be productive. Or play some KH2. Whatever.
Oh dear. I'm starting to sound like Squall Leonhart.
