Day 164: The new week
May. 30th, 2005 08:12 pmHaving yesterday off was seriously awesome, and it helped loads to be able to just sit around and do nothing. I went to the college ward with Derrick and Jason, and as I got home before Mom and Dad I played some more Kingdom Hearts. I also watched the videos Derrick gave me - Del, you've got to see the X Japan vids I scored. Yoshiki is so pretty, but then so is Hide. Yoshiki kind of pings for me, though. Watch and you'll see what I mean.
I was absolutely overjoyed with Niichan sent me a letter, and I wrote back and now I shall be pestering him with letters like mad. The one I sent to Stephen got sent back, so I'll try one more time and if it fails again I'll reckon he's moved and wait till he writes with his new address.
Del, did you check out Maya's version of the new Star Wars movie? I laughed so hard as I read it.
Today at work wasn't bad - I ran around a lot, shuttled between cashier lanes and customer service. The GSTL's thought it'd be okay to desert me at the desk while they took their lunch breaks, but of course as soon as they were gone the crazy customers came in. I didn't get my lunch till three - and I reckon I was lucky to get it at all. Tomorrow is the longest shift I have this week. Work wasn't bad, though, because I have friends. There's this one guy who I can talk to anime about, and he's nice. I think I've seen him before somewhere, and he seems to know me - but I don't remember his name and he never has a nametag. Mom already thinks I should date him.
I played some more Kingdom Hearts tonight, and I've gotten farther than I ever have before. I just realized that Riku looks like a prototype design for the platinum blond boys in the Advent Children movie. Hmmm...I'm sure the real guys look so much better.
Will have more story dish for you Del, soon, whenever I write the next fun scene. Glad you enjoyed the last one!
