Poor Del. Has tests all day. We met up at Mills' office for the French test-out exam, and he put us in a small psych department lecture room. Pretty trusting. Left us to ourselves. I finished in about twenty minutes (with much sweating over the verbs) and talked to Mills in French (the oral part) while he graded the exam. I knew I should've trusted my instincts on those verbs. Came out with an A, which was a huge relief, because as I slid the paper across the desk I could see my GPA swiring down the drain.
The history test was over quickly, although Bostick was his patented four minutes late. We should have had a bet, because I totally called the time right. All I have to do now is write a last small Tvordi paper (for this semester, because somehow I don't think this is the last paper I'm ever going to write for her), study for the Harris test of DOOM, clean my room a bit and then...well...I ought to take Gohatto back to the video store. Wash my hair. That sort of thing. I reckon I'll watch the video again, though.
Del and I watched it last night, and I understood so much more this time around. Partially because I knew what was coming and I could puzzle things out, and partially because I've studied the Shinsengumi a lot more and so I at least knew who the characters were who had any historical significance. This time around, yes Kano was pretty, but he was even creepier than before, and I've decided that I look Souji in just about all his forms. The only time I didn't like him was when he was portrayed as subservient to Saitou Hajime in a Kenshin movie. But other than that, I love Souji. *grin*
Rodney came by afterwards, and we sort of chatted. I worked on my song notebook and my French, Del worked on her psychology, she and Rodney antagonized each other and then he left. I spent the night with a weather migraine (drugs didn't help, and the winds today have been hellish) and some strange stomach ache. Life has been good, though, and I'm ready for this semester to be over, same as the rest of the gang. Mindless work as a cashier in retail or something. A nice break from back-breaking papers analyzing Milton's polemics.
I think I'll take a nap now.
