Day 145: Weekend, Weeday, Finals
May. 3rd, 2005 03:49 pmLet's start with ( Sunday )
And if you feel like it, on to ( Monday )
As for today...I got the paper of doom all written! BenTen and I went to lunch, came home and wrote our papers. We finished at the same time, so she brought her laptop into my room and I guided her through the MLA citation process because I'm an English major and I'm used to it by now, and then we switched laptops and fixed each other's papers. We ran into Del and Erin, so the four of us trooped down to the computer labs in Eccles (the printer in Juniper sucks, and the internet in this dorm was down anyway) to print out our papers. I showed Daisuke to Erin and Del, and they bothn agreed that he's cute. He really is a cute boy. I like him, but Yuichi speaks better English, and isn't so much of a jock. The immense satisfaction when I held the freshly-printed paper in my hands was just indescribable. Fifteen pages of blood, sweat, tears, and caffeine. Maybe if it's good it'll be a good conference paper. I'm just glad it's over and done with. The four of us trooped over to the English building together to turn in the papers. We took the elevator up, which I've never done before, chatted with Tvordi, and then Erin and I took the stairs and raced BenTen and Del in the elevator. Now I'm back in my room and contemplating banal things like cleaning, and checking email. I'll write the other short papers tomorrow, and I'll be fine. No tests until Thursday!
