Crime - slacking. If you see those posters around (accompanied with unflattering pictures of me in my school uniform) then you know Brad is seriously out to get me now. I've not only been slacking on the journal entry front, but with life in general. He's checked last month's output ratings versus this month and of course he's severely disappointed in me because I didn't take the holiday time offered to catch up. Maybe if we were still killing people all the time I'd put a bit more effort into things.
Easter Break was good. BenTen and I went down and stayed at my place for a night, and we just hung out with mom and Shaz and Sid (and enjoyed wonderful home-cooked food) and talked. We also rented Ju-On, the Japanese original version of "The Grudge." I wasn't scared of Ring 2 when I saw it, but something about this movie got to me. Now I almost feel bad about scaring Aya-chan with my hair like that. Oh gosh. I couldn't go to sleep until I'd watched some DNAngel and happy stuff. BenTen and I ended up curled up on the same couch ducking into each other every time something scary was about to happen. I'll admit it was pathetic, but I stay by my opinion that the Japanese version is scarier.
BenTen, Mom (and Audi the chihuahua) and I went to the Arts Festival and looked around, and we found these awesome hair twisty things made of silver, gold or rainbow metal that you can corkscrew into your hair. It looks seriously awesome, so we got some and then spent the next morning playing with them and learning how to twist them into our own and each other's hair. As much as BenTen and I are tomboys, every now and then we have our girly moments. You'd never find two guys doing that for each other. I like my long hair, and I like having fun, pretty things to put in it. *momiji grin*
Del came down on Saturday night and even made it in time for dinner, so we ate and then went into the jacuzzi before watching Finding Neverland. It was such a sweet movie, and really pretty, too. I loved it. It was sort of a quiet movie so we had to keep cranking up the volume, but I did love it as a movie. Just wow...really touching and stuff, although I didn't cry. Del started to cry near the end, and when I commented on it she biffed me over the head with a pillow.
On Easter Sunday - and Mom left both of us some awesome chocolate - we went to church. After church we lazed around and relaxed and I introduced Del to the bizarre world of Fruits Basket. (That's right, Gamila, we're bringing more and more into the cult!) Sid and Shaz came by for dinner and we went in the jacuzzi again before playing some table games. Taboo and Scattergories are our games of choice it seems, but we had lots of fun all the same. Del and I stayed up really really late - to the tune of about three a.m. - and just talked, which was lots of fun. I like talking to Del. I get tired of talking to some people after a while, but I always like to talk to Del.
Today we just sort of lazed around and watched more anime before Del had to leave for here to attend her RA interview. I made it home safe, and I'm happy.
Love you, Mom!
