Day Sixty-nine: Leisurely...
Dec. 5th, 2004 05:46 pmWell, today didn't really go as planned. Stayed up too late last night and so slept in today - and received a surprisingly murderous death glare from Rachel for missing church - and was semi-awakened by Aya asking me to fetch her engagement ring for her. I had really intended to only stick around for a bit and then come home to get some homework done, but I ended up staying for all but the last hour of their shift, during which time I found myself greatly amused by Benten's would-be 1337 |\|!|\|j4 skill2 as she attacked people with ice.
I finally talked to Daniel online again, which I haven't done in a while, and I even met his new girlfriend Amanda. Weirdness ensued, lots of which involved quoting too many Metallica songs and me with that random repressed desire to kiss more boys. Not. And then Benten and Aya got off their first shift and I tromped around with Benten in the snow and more madness - and cold - ensued in the pursuit of pictures for Benten's photography project. Hope she does all right with those pictures. And has fun with them. I liked the first picture more than I liked the second picture, but oh well.
And then I fell asleep...was working on my critical methods paper and just sort of...passed out, if you know what I mean. I at least woke up on my bed with blankets and stuff, although I'm vaguely clueless as to how I made it to such a lofty height in a state of semi-consciousness. And now that I'm awake, I have a migraine. It was fairly warm today, but I suspect tonigt will be brutally cold. So I'm going to do what homework I can, plod along at a leisurely pace and get what I can done before I reached the suicidally early hours of the morning.
A gentleman never rushes. He always strolls leisurely, and no matter how late it may seem he will be he arrives on time. Strolling leisurely, always.
I wish.
