Day 607: Strange turn of events

I feel like a dirty slacker. Why? Well, I worked on my paper this morning before Con Law. And sat through a two-hour monster session of Con Law like a good kid. I managed to pay the best attention I could during property, which is a feat. Rather than being more helpful during a lecture that involved accepted students, good old Lord V decided it would be better to grandstand even more than usual. He is passionate about what he teaches, to say the least. Dallon is firm and unapologetic about what he teaches without being nutty. Watts is passionate about what he teaches, but he's funny and practical. Teply's class is probably the one I'll end up using most in real lawyer life, but it's so dry that I'm hopelessly lost by the time lecture is done. Even Professor White gives us a good time in K. But property is slowly exercising a constructive taking on my soul.
I worked on my paper when I came home. And, well, then I took a nap, I confess. And my DVDs came in the mail. That's right, I was a stupid dorkface and ordered the entirety of The Crow: Stairway to Heaven. Why? Good memories of watching it on the Sci Fi channel with my sister, because I love that comic, and also because Mark Dacascos is the man. And so I watched the first five episodes. Five hours, you say? Nagi, you horribly indolent child. What's the matter with you? Well, I did it, and that's that. And then I finished the motion brief of evil. Yes, that's right, Brad, you heard it. Desert Eagle away. The motion brief of all suck is done! Now I just have to prep for oral argument. Now I remember how much of an adrenaline junkie I was in high school. Seriously - between kendo and debate, I was high almost all the time.
And sometimes puking my guts out for it due to nerves.
I feel soooo bad for really only tackling one subject, and then I remember that I worked my little tail off last week to get homework done this week. So it was fully right that I only worked on my paper tonight. I'm almost tempted to do property to assuage my guilt, but I shall not.
The end.

Nagi note: for those of you wondering why I posted twice in one day, well...I wanted to report yesterday. And thus I report today. Two entries in one day, but technically for two different days. So that's why they have different numbers.
No. No, I didn't screw up.
