So I am officially cursed when it comes to computers. The computers frelled up twice last week, and on Thursday I was so frustrated I nearly cried. Nearly. Didn't really, thanks to a will save throw, but whatever.
I thought the computers were going well today. I have got the back-up system down to an art and now it no longer takes half an hour. Yay. Or not so when the database I slave to keep running screws itself up who knows how.
And then tonight smoke started coming out of the power cable for my laptop. That's right.
SMOKE.
So now I have to go dig up paperwork and see about getting the power replaced. I don't want to lose my story. I may lose my mind if I have to try to write another novel by hand. Not that I haven't done it before.
Yeah. So...hunh. There isn't much I can do. The Apple website is more or less useless. And I really could have done with my dad harping and gloating about paperwork. But whatever.
So I am going to hunt for said paperwork. Or maybe sulk in my room and play KH2. I played FFV at lunch today and it made me feel much better.
But now I sorta want to cry again.
